The show DANCE ME, Music by Leonard Cohen at the Cogeco Amphitheatre

Trois-Rivières, June 4, 2018 - The Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières in collaboration with Culture Trois-Rivières are proud to announce the addition of the show Dance Me, music by Leonard Cohen presented by BJM - Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal at the Cogeco Amphitheatre on September 7th.

Dance Me / Leonard Cohen is an exclusive new creation inspired by the rich and profound work of Montreal-born poet, artist and songwriter Leonard Cohen.

Approved by Cohen during his lifetime, under the artistic direction of Louis Robitaille and the strong and bold scenic dramaturgy of Eric Jean, this unique show comes to life in five seasons as so many cycles of existence as depicted by Leonard Cohen in his work.

The choreographic writing of the show has been entrusted to three international choreographers: Andonis Foniadakis, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Ihsan Rustem, to create a powerful and profound universe representing the work of the famous Montreal poet, under the luminous impulse of 14 performers from the company.

Surrounded by a team of renowned designers, Dance Me combines scenic, visual, musical, dramaturgical and choreographic writings to pay tribute to the greatest of Montreal's ambassadors. Dance, music, videos and lighting punctuate this complete and multidisciplinary show, which has received exclusive rights in dance for five years.
