Heavy metal fans will meet at the Cabaret on Saturday, November 30 for the Rammfest second edition, which will host two of the country's best tribute bands, Rammstime (Tribute to Rammstein) and Ozzy So Crazy (Tribute to Ozzy & Black Sabbath), in addition to the Quebec metal band La Corriveau. Explosive performances, pyrotechnic effects, costumes and wild music are on the menu of Rammfest 2019 to satisfy the eyes and ears of metal music fans in the Mauricie area.
Hosts of that evening, the members of Rammstime have a very enviable track record; since 2011, they have played at Club Soda in Montreal, Woodstock en Beauce, Thetford Mines' Festival de la relève, Toronto's Rockpile, not to forget their prestigious concert in New York in August 2013 where they had the chance to play in front of Rammstein's official fan club in the United States. With a mission to reproduce the best metal pieces of the German fetish band, in addition to animating the scene with flamboyant theatrical effects and inflamed visuals, Rammstime holds the winning recipe to seduce the crowds.
Ozzy So Crazy
Ozzy So Crazy brings to life the Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath shows with all the madness and decadence of the Prince of Darkness. The band of 4 passionate musicians recreates perfectly the interpretations of the hits from the vast repertoire of these metal pioneers. The "Crazy Train" is en route to Trois-Rivières, will you join us?
La Corriveau is a heavy metal band from Quebec formed by Marc Légaré (guitar) and Xavier Alvarez (drums) in the spring of 2008. Although the name and aesthetics of the group are based on a true legend of the Quebec terroir about a murderous woman hanged and then exposed in a cage after she committed the murder of two of her husbands, the band deals with a wider range of topics such as love/hate relationships, mystical beliefs, war and life after death.
