Jay Scøtt is a Terrebonne-born singer-songwriter. His musical multitasking includes rap, vocals, piano, guitar (which he plays backwards) and beatmaking. Formerly known under the stage name PL3, the artist has been active on the Montreal scene for a decade now. Jay Scøtt's versatility and eclecticism lend a burst of flavor to his soundtracks, which tease out rap, folk and pop. The narrative of his songs eulogizes the everyday life of the average Quebecer through touching lyrics, references to popular culture and catchy melodies, all sailing together towards an eternal pursuit of happiness, despite the emotional troughs this life suggests...
