"Tout écartillé" will be the title of the second show of the Tribute Series by Cirque du Soleil

March 15, 2016

Trois-Rivières, March 15, 2016 - Cirque du Soleil will be setting up for another summer in Trois-Rivières to present the second show of the Tribute Series: TOUT ÉCARTILLÉ. This show, created and produced by 45 DEGREES, the special events and projects company of the Cirque du Soleil, will pay tribute to singer-songwriter, musician and performer Robert Charlebois, a leading figure in the Quebec music industry for over 50 years.

"We are proud to present a completely new concept that will allow the audience to revisit the Cogeco Amphitheatre through a new experience. Our biggest challenge this year will be to surpass expectations following the success of our first show in the Tribute Series LE MONDE EST FOU" explains Yasmine Khalil, executive producer of the show and president of 45 DEGREES, the division responsible for the Tribute Series.

Under the creative direction of Daniel Fortin, this 75-minute show, created exclusively for the Cogeco Amphitheatre, will bring together 25 artists in a production by Jean-Guy Legault and a musical direction by Jean-Phi Goncalves.

"A team passionate about Robert Charlebois work will gather again this year. The creative team is ready to make the public travel from the 60s to present time in a surprising way" explains Daniel Fortin, executive director and creation for 45 DEGREES.

ROBERT CHARLEBOIS – TOUT ÉCARTILLÉ

In the footsteps of a retro-futuristic aviator with a Lindberg look in search of perpetual travel, the spectators will be invited to a dizzy dive into the eclectic, dishevelled, poetic and daring universe of one of the most famous « enfant terrible » of the Quebec music scene. A show carried by the unbridled imagination of Charlebois where the journey will always be more important than the destination.
