Trois-Rivières, July 18, 2019 - It is with great pleasure that the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières, with the collaboration of Mon Jardin Urbain, handed over 600 trees and nearly 2,000 plants at the exit of the first performance of Cirque du Soleil's show, Joyeux Calvaire - Tribute to the Cowboys Fringants last night.
This gift to our guests was both a thank you for their presence at this special evening, but also an environmental gesture. Indeed, the planting of these trees and plants will offset some of the greenhouse gases generated by the presentation of this media event.
We are also proud to know that more than 600 oaks, robinia and honey locusts will grow everywhere in Quebec over the next few years in memory of the show Joyeux Calvaire - Tribute to the Cowboys Fringants.
