The Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières is pleased to announce the very first edition of its "On ferme la shop" event, a festive and warm evening where spectators will be invited to sing, dance and tap their feet to the rhythm of Quebec trad music! Presented on December 22, 2023, just before the vacation season, it's a chance for friends, family and colleagues to close the books on the past year and celebrate the new one with music.
The quartet Les Grands Hurleurs, starring Nicolas Pellerin, will have the pleasure of inaugurating this new tradition at the Cabaret de l'Amphithéâtre Cogeco. The group will be accompanied by special guest Tommy Gauthier on fiddle and mandolin. And what would a trad evening be without someone to call the square set? As with all authentic folk evenings, caller Ghislain Jutras will also be on hand to lead the audience in the lively dances of trad music.
On December 22, put on your best plaid shirt, get the wooden spoons out of the kitchen and borrow your grandfather's best furry helmet: we're closing shop at the Cabaret de l'Amphithéâtre Cogeco!
