Six worlds, one stage: the Cogeco Amphitheater Cabaret unveils new shows for 2026–2027

Trois-Rivières, October 6, 2026 – From the world of Bruce Springsteen to that of Céline Dion, including Brel, Brassens, Ferré, Rammstein, and Coldplay, the Cabaret de l’Amphithéâtre Cogeco is expanding its lineup with six musical events—including several tribute shows—as well as a highly anticipated performance by Matt Holubowski, all of which are sure to thrill audiences over the coming months.

Through tribute shows and unique musical performances, the audience will be invited to revisit iconic songs, rediscover great artists, and enjoy experiences that go far beyond simply recreating a repertoire.

Thunder Road • December 4, 2026: Born out of a passion for Bruce Springsteen, Thunder Road brings together eight musicians who bring to life on stage the energy, power, and timeless classics of “The Boss” and the E Street Band. With their chemistry, passion, and plenty of fun, they invite fans to enjoy a rock-filled evening brimming with emotion and songs that bring people together.

Brel, Brassens, and Ferré: A Tribute • February 4, 2027: This tribute show immerses the audience in the worlds of Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, and Léo Ferré—three giants of French chanson whose words, poetry, and artistic freedom continue to resonate with audiences. Through their works, Pierrot Fournier brings the spirit and songs of these three singer-songwriters to life on the Cabaret stage.

Rammstime • March 19, 2027: Rammstein fans won’t be disappointed by this explosive tribute show. Known for its flamboyant theatrical effects and visuals, Rammstime sets every stage ablaze. After touring Quebec, the band is making a stop at the Cabaret de l’Amphithéâtre Cogeco to deliver an immersive experience where Rammstein’s extravagance and raw energy come to life!

Viva Coldplay • March 26, 2027: The band will present an immersive tribute experience that recreates the energy and visual world of Coldplay’s iconic shows. Led by Alexis “Chris Martin” Simard on vocals and piano, accompanied by a trio of guitar, bass, and drums, the band revisits the British group’s greatest hits, from “Yellow” and “Fix You” to “Viva La Vida” and “A Sky Full of Stars.” Video projections, lighting, colorful costumes, stage effects, and glow bracelets make the audience a true part of the show. A unifying musical and visual experience where everyone sings, dances, and moves to the beat of Coldplay.

Ma Céline à moi • April 1, 2027: Following her 2025 performance, Drummondville-native singer Stéphanie Bédard returns to the Cabaret with “Ma Céline à moi.” A finalist on *Star Académie*, a contestant on *The Voice* in France, Marianne in the musical *Robin Hood* in Paris, house singer at *Belle et Bum* for three years, and Esmeralda in the *Notre-Dame-de-Paris* tour in South Korea, Taiwan, and Lebanon—a career that’s sure to make anyone jealous. Convinced while Céline Dion herself is undoubtedly the best person to perform her own songs in their original versions, Stéphanie reinterprets them in a sensitive and unadorned way, with an intimate and cinematic approach that restores the words to their rightful place: authenticity, simplicity, and clarity.

Matt Holubowski • November 18, 2027: Straddling hope and melancholy, Matt Holubowski transforms his contradictions, obsessions, and moments of doubt into a unique and deeply personal brand of folk music. A recipient of a Gold Record for *Solitudes* and a Félix Award for *Flowers on a Molten Lawn*, the Hudson-born singer-songwriter has established himself as a key figure in the Quebec music scene. As he prepares to release his new album *Inside The Merry Loop*, Holubowski continues to explore that space where sadness meets hope, through music that is at once intimate, sensitive, and constantly evolving.
