Trois-Rivieres, February 12, 2019 - The Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières is proud to announce the addition of a new show to the 2019 program of the Cogeco Amphitheatre Cabaret. Indeed, the band CCR Reborn will present the greatest successes of CCR, popular band from the 60s and 70s, on April 26th. In addition, local band Sortilège Blues Band will provide the opening of the show. For the occasion, the Cabaret will propose a sitting configuration to the spectators.
Tribute to CCR with CCR Reborn
A road trip of the greatest hits by Creedence Clearwater Revival. From country to blues and pop to rock'n'roll, let yourself be transported by CCR's greatest hits! A tribute show staged by the Montreal band Flying Joes and featuring veteran musicians, who accompanied famous artists such as Sylvain Cossette, brothers Éric and Hugo Lapointe, Steve Hill, Kim Richardson, Roch Voisine, etc. This happening will immerse you in the heart of a festive musical tour that surprises, magnetizes and captivates! Syd Bédard (singer / guitarist), JF Arsenault (guitarist / singer), Yves Côté (drums) and Sébastien Saliceti (bassist / singer) deploy a singular energy and a contagious pleasure on stage... which will surely conquer you!
Sortilège Blues Band
The Sortilège Blues Band is a local band that delivers an energetic and varied blues, punctuated by original arrangements. The band has six members: Denis Héon (vocals and keyboards), Véronique Dupont (vocals), Nathalie Normandin (vocals), Pierre Hould (guitar), Pierre-Hugues Moore (bass) and Michel Chevalier (drums).
