Trois-Rivières, September 28, 2022 - The Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières is proud to announce that Kashmir Experience-Tribute to Led Zeppelin will perform an additional show on November 26, 2022 at the Cabaret de l'Amphithéâtre Cogeco. The band will be performing twice at the Cabaret this year as their show on December 17, 2022 is sold out.
About Kashmir
After more than eighteen years of hard work and collaboration, Kashmir is proud to be the only North American band to perform a tribute to Led Zeppelin with such precision.
The band has chosen to perform Led Zeppelin's greatest hits in the versions presented at the legendary concert The Song Remains the Same, raising the bar of challenge as their length and complexity prove to be more significant than in the original version.
Of course, Kashmir didn't magically build its reputation. The key to its success? Talented and passionate musicians, an unequalled attention to detail, a beautiful chemistry, a love of the stage, of the music and of the audience, but above all, years of practice allowing them to honor every note of the mythical rock band with fidelity.
The genesis of Kashmir
In 2000, the idea of creating a Led Zeppelin tribute band had been germinating in Thierry Voisin's head for some time. Motivated to make it happen, the talented guitarist spontaneously thought of Bruno Sévigny whose experience, vocal range, look and attitude made him the ideal candidate to take the microphone by storm.
This one accepts to embark on the adventure and quickly turns to Alain Lacaille to take up the challenge to take place at the drums thanks to his great dexteritý. It is then Martin Robert who comes to complete the quartet on bass for several years, to eventually pass the torch to Marc Legault.
Since their very first performance at the former Montreal bar La place d'à côté in January 2001, Kashmir has never stopped wowing rock fans and growing in popularitý. This is what motivates the band members to continue to work hard to put their respective talents at the service of the hundreds of nostalgic fans who come to see them perform and treat themselves to a trip back in time whose authenticity and credibility remain unmatched.
