Nos illustres divas - Concours créatif inspirant

NOTICE : The contest is extended by one year due to the report of Vive nos divas! in the summer of 2021.

In context

Our divas’ work through the eyes of the kids from Mauricie

As part of the Cirque du Soleil show paying tribute to Quebec divas and which will be presented in the summer of 2021, the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières invites all young elementary school students from the Mauricie region to participate in a major competition aimed at highlighting their artistic talents. They will be invited to read a list of inspirations made up of five works by our great voices from Quebec. Elementary students will then be asked to use their artistic talent to create a work that illustrates what these songs mean to them. In addition to stimulating their creativity, the goal of this project is to introduce young people from the region to inspiring texts sung by female artists who have left their mark on Quebec in their own way. The songs selected address issues that are very present in society and lead us in this sense to introspection. The winning works will be displayed in large format structures on the grass esplanade of the Cogeco Amphitheatre throughout the Cirque du Soleil performances, from July 14 to August 14, 2021.
