The Cabaret at the Cogeco Amphitheatre continues its momentum with five new shows in the fall of 2023!

The Corporation des Événements de Trois-Rivières is proud to announce five new shows that will be added to the fall 2023 program of the Cabaret de l'Amphithéâtre Cogeco.

 

On November 16, 2023, the group Heart of Gold will present an acoustic show inspired by the music of Neil Young. Canadian rock singer and songwriter Keith Kouna will be in Trois-Rivières on November 23, 2023. This will be followed by the return of Time it Was, a tribute band to Cat Stevens and Simon & Garfunkel, on November 25, 2023. High Voltage - The Ultimate AC/DC Tribute will hit the cabaret stage for the first time on December 2, 2023. The Grand Illusion - Styx Experience, a 6-piece tribute to the rock band Styx, will bring fans their greatest hits on December 15, 2023. These shows add a nice diversity to the next season of the Cogeco Amphitheatre cabaret.

Heart of Gold - November 16, 2023

The pandemic was not all bad! Four seasoned musicians from Lévis, each with their own musical background and all fans of Neil Young, have decided to combine their common passion to create an acoustic show based on the repertoire of this icon of North American folk music.

 

The show offers an amalgam of songs from Neil Young's vast acoustic repertoire, with acoustic versions of some of the more electric songs. From Heart of Gold to Harvest Moon, including Comes a Time, Southern Man and Like a Hurricane, Neil Young fans will enjoy a warm and convincing performance, delivered in all simplicity. A pure moment of happiness that is good for the heart and the ears!

After four highly acclaimed albums, Keith Kouna returns with Métastases, in March 2023, as well as a full band tour for the first time in 5 years to celebrate its release.

 

Time it was - November 25, 2023

Venue Configuration - Seated General Admission

Time it Was is more than a tribute to Cat Stevens and Simon & Garfunkel, who together make up a whole section of American music from the 70s. It's a real trip back in time that brings to mind the immense repertoire of these monuments of American song and a snapshot of this revolutionary era. Five musicians and singers, accompanied by 2 backing singers will guide you on this journey.

The Grand Illusion - Styx Experience - December 15, 2023

For over 20 years, The Grand Illusion has been delighting audiences everywhere they go. Six musicians will take you through the great moments of Styx's career in sound and image. From Lady to Crystal Ball, through Come Sail Away, and Suite Madame Blue, for one night, immerse yourself in the world of STYX with The Grand Illusion.
