Trois-Rivières, November 26, 2018 - The entire Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières team is pleased to officially announce the presentation, during the summer of 2019, of the fifth show of the Cirque du Soleil Tribute Series. This show, created and produced by 45 DEGREES, Cirque du Soleil's events and special projects division, will pay tribute to the famous Quebec band, critically acclaimed and loved by the public, the Cowboys Fringants, who have rocked the French-speaking world for two decades.

Indeed, Cowboys Fringants have a rich 15-album discography and a rare longevity of more than 20 years. They play in sold-out venues in each of their tour, crisscrossing Quebec and French-speaking Europe. Their voices resonated with a faithful public, each time more numerous. They are the symbols of Quebec today, marked in their roots, generous and festive, at the crossroads of various currents, and far from fashions.
Also faithful to his team, Daniel Fortin, Creative Vice President for Cirque du Soleil, will again put his trust in Jean-Guy Legault for the staging, and Jean-Phi Goncalves for the musical direction and arrangements.
